Collaboration project with Mica Smith and Alex Tanveer.

The toad, stump, and flower petals are all laser cut cardboard layered together and then built up with modeling clay and plaster. Painted with acrylic paint and adorned with found materials and objects.

In my mind the toad is the guardian of his stump home and collects little trinkets for travelers to trade with him to gain passage through the forest.
